Hi, I’m Jayde. A candid and documentary-style family, couples, and portrait photographer based in Hamilton, Ontario
This business grew quickly out of a love for connection, romanticizing life, and finding comfort in colouring memories that will live on long after us. It’s more than just creating photographs. It’s about seeing people for who they are. Feeling connection. Knowing which little moments you’ll look back on and feel like you were right there again. Sounds deep, eh? But that’s because it is. Our world moves fast. We’re always going, always chasing. And in the rush, so much of the small stuff slips by unnoticed. The kiss at the front door. The toddler bedhead. The bath time routine. The way he picks you up and spins you. That dimple on your right cheek. My fear? That we’re losing it. But then I meet people like you. And I’m reminded that love, connection, and choosing to be present in this season of life is what holds it all together.
MY GOAL IS SIMPLE:
Pause time for just a moment.
Slow the world down.
Capture you, exactly as you are.
My personality in a nutshell
I'm loyal to my core, bubbly when the mood strikes, and maybe a little too honest for my own good. I'm curious by nature, open-hearted, and love getting to know people. I ask a lot of questions.
I LOVE PEOPLE. I LOVE BEING SOCIAL. BUT I ALSO REALLY LOVE ALONE TIME. I THINK EVERYONE RELATES. I'M AN OLD(ISH) SOUL—I LOVE OLD THINGS, SPACES WITH CHARACTER, AND ANYTHING BUILT TO LAST. THAT SAID, I’M ALSO A BIG FAN OF MODERN TECH (MOST OF THE TIME).
I LOVE MUSIC, CONCERTS, PODCASTS, AND LEARNING NEW THINGS. I HAVEN'T TRAVELLED NEARLY AS MUCH AS I'D LIKE TO. CURRENTLY PRACTICING ROMANTICIZING LIFE BECAUSE WOW, HOW LUCKY ARE WE TO BE HERE?
THANKS FOR BEING HERE, TOO.

My Approach
Photo sessions can feel stressful, but I honestly think a lot of that comes from the pressure to be perfect.
WHAT IF WE JUST LET THAT GO? WHAT IF IT WERE AN HOUR OF YOU BEING FULLY, COMFORTABLY YOURSELF?
We’re often quick to pick apart how we look or act. But, when we look back, we’re just thankful we documented it at all. These photos are for remembering who you were in this season, not a polished version of you. That’s what I care about capturing.
